VoiceFold Terms and Conditions

VoiceFold is operated by CodeSper LLC (“CodeSper,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VoiceFold mobile app, website pages, and related services.

By downloading, accessing, or using VoiceFold, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VoiceFold.

1. VoiceFold Services

VoiceFold is a mobile app that provides recording, transcription, AI summaries, insights, Ask AI, export, speaker detection, and related features.

Features may vary depending on your account type, subscription status, device, location, app version, internet connection, third-party service availability, and technical limitations.

We may update, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

2. Accounts and Guest Access

VoiceFold may allow you to use the app as a guest or by signing in with supported providers such as Apple or Google.

Guest access may be limited. Guest data may be tied to your device, anonymous account, or local app session. Guest data may not sync across devices and may not be recoverable if you delete the app, clear local data, change devices, or lose access to the guest session.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your device, Apple account, Google account, and VoiceFold account.

3. Recording Consent and Legal Responsibility

You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to recording, uploading, transcribing, storing, exporting, sharing, or using audio content.

Recording laws vary by location. Some places require consent from one party, while others require consent from all parties. Do not record private conversations unless you have permission or are legally allowed to do so.

VoiceFold is a tool. We are not responsible for how you choose to record, upload, transcribe, store, export, share, or use content.

4. Transcription and AI Features

VoiceFold may use automated transcription and AI systems to generate transcripts, summaries, insights, action items, speaker-related output, and Ask AI responses.

Transcription and AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inappropriate for your situation. You should review important information before relying on it.

VoiceFold does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, professional, or emergency advice. Do not rely on VoiceFold as a substitute for professional judgment or qualified advice.

5. User Content

“User Content” means audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, insights, Ask AI questions and responses, categories, notes, exports, and any other content you create, upload, process, store, or share through VoiceFold.

You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to use it with VoiceFold.

You grant CodeSper LLC and our service providers permission to host, store, transmit, process, analyze, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve VoiceFold, enforce these Terms, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

You keep ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights granted in these Terms.

6. Privacy

Your use of VoiceFold is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how VoiceFold collects, uses, stores, processes, and shares information, including audio, transcripts, AI content, account information, usage data, subscription information, and device-related information.

7. Free Access, Premium Features, and Usage Limits

VoiceFold may offer Free Access and paid Premium features.

Free Access may include limited recording time, limited transcription, initial insights, or other limited features.

Premium features may include longer recordings, live transcription, Ask AI, regenerate insights, speaker detection, exports, additional recording time, or other enhanced features.

VoiceFold may apply usage limits, including recording time limits, maximum recording length, AI usage limits, export limits, regenerate limits, live transcription limits, guest access limits, and anti-abuse controls.

We do not guarantee unlimited transcription, unlimited AI usage, unlimited exports, or unlimited access unless explicitly stated in the app for a specific plan.

Limits may change over time, subject to applicable law and platform rules.

8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

VoiceFold may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store.

Subscription pricing, billing period, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and included features are shown in the app before purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple account settings before the renewal date. Apple handles billing, payment processing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds according to Apple’s policies.

CodeSper LLC does not receive your full payment card information.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings. Deleting the VoiceFold app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Premium access may continue until the end of the paid billing period after cancellation, unless otherwise handled by Apple or required by applicable law.

9. Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple’s refund policies.

CodeSper LLC does not control Apple’s refund decisions. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please request a refund through Apple or contact us for support.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VoiceFold to:

  • Violate any law or regulation

  • Record people without required permission or legal authority

  • Upload, process, store, export, or share content you do not have rights to use

  • Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, exploit, or harm others

  • Create, store, or distribute illegal, abusive, harmful, or infringing content

  • Attempt to bypass subscription controls, guest limits, usage limits, or anti-abuse systems

  • Reverse engineer, copy, modify, exploit, overload, disrupt, or interfere with VoiceFold

  • Access VoiceFold using automated tools, bots, scraping, or unauthorized methods

  • Use VoiceFold to develop competing services in a way that violates applicable law or these Terms

  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as verified, official, or professionally reviewed when it is not

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated or if use of VoiceFold creates risk for users, CodeSper LLC, service providers, or third parties.

11. Service Providers and Third-Party Services

VoiceFold relies on third-party services to operate app features, including cloud hosting, authentication, transcription, AI processing, subscription management, analytics, diagnostics, and platform services.

Third-party service availability, performance, policies, and outages may affect VoiceFold. We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions or third-party terms outside our control.

Your use of Apple, Google, and other third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

12. App Store Terms

If you download VoiceFold from the Apple App Store, you also agree to comply with Apple’s applicable App Store terms and policies.

These Terms are between you and CodeSper LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for VoiceFold, its content, maintenance, support, or any claims related to VoiceFold, except as required by applicable law or Apple’s own terms.

13. Availability and Changes

VoiceFold may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, outages, third-party service issues, technical problems, or other reasons.

We do not guarantee that VoiceFold will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free.

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of VoiceFold at any time.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed by VoiceFold.

However, no app, system, network, storage method, or encryption method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your device, account credentials, and app access secure.

15. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

VoiceFold may allow you to delete recordings, delete guest data, or delete your account through the app where available.

You may also contact us at support@codesperpro.com for account or data-related requests.

Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, including for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, backup, or enforcement of these Terms.

16. Intellectual Property

VoiceFold, including its app design, software, branding, logos, features, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by CodeSper LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from VoiceFold except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

17. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feature requests, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.

18. Disclaimers

VoiceFold is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeSper LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that transcripts, summaries, insights, speaker detection, or AI responses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended use.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeSper LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, device issues, subscription issues, or reliance on inaccurate transcription or AI output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to VoiceFold will not exceed the amount you paid for VoiceFold in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $50 if you did not pay for VoiceFold.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

20. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CodeSper LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of VoiceFold

  • Your User Content

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of recording consent laws

  • Your violation of another person’s rights

  • Your violation of applicable law

21. Termination

You may stop using VoiceFold at any time.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to VoiceFold if we believe you violated these Terms, misused the service, created risk, attempted to bypass usage limits, or used VoiceFold in a way that may harm users, CodeSper LLC, service providers, or third parties.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including sections about User Content, Privacy, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Disputes.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

23. Disputes

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@codesperpro.com and try to resolve the issue informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, United States, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of VoiceFold after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using VoiceFold.
