VoiceFold is operated by CodeSper LLC (“CodeSper,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

This Privacy Policy explains how VoiceFold collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the VoiceFold mobile app, website pages, and related services.

By using VoiceFold, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use VoiceFold.

1. Information We Collect

VoiceFold may collect the following types of information.

Account Information

When you sign in with Apple or Google, we may receive basic account information depending on what the provider shares with us, such as:

  • User account identifier

  • Email address

  • Display name

  • Authentication provider information

If you use VoiceFold as a guest, we may create an anonymous account or guest identifier so the app can provide limited access and manage usage.

Audio Recordings

When you record or upload audio in VoiceFold, the app may process audio data to create transcripts, summaries, insights, speaker-related information, and other app features.

Audio may include voices, background sounds, and other information captured during recording. You are responsible for making sure you have permission or legal authority to record.

Transcripts, Summaries, Insights, and AI Content

VoiceFold may store and process content generated from your recordings, including:

  • Transcripts

  • AI summaries

  • Insights

  • Highlights

  • Action items

  • Speaker labels or speaker-related output

  • Ask AI questions and responses

  • Categories, notes, or related metadata

This information is used to provide the app’s features and allow you to access your content in the app.

Usage and Subscription Information

We may collect usage and subscription-related information, including:

  • Recording time used

  • Feature usage

  • AI feature usage

  • Export usage

  • Plan type

  • Subscription status

  • Purchase and restore status

  • Usage limits

  • Renewal or expiration status

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Apple and subscription management providers. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Device and App Information

We may collect technical information such as:

  • Device type

  • Operating system version

  • App version

  • Anonymous device or session identifiers

  • Guest access identifiers

  • Anti-abuse or fraud-prevention signals

  • Crash logs

  • Diagnostic information

  • Performance information

For guest access and abuse prevention, VoiceFold may use device-level signals such as Apple DeviceCheck or similar platform tools.

Analytics and Diagnostics

If analytics or diagnostics tools are enabled, we may collect limited app usage information to understand how VoiceFold is used and improve reliability.

Analytics should not include transcript text, audio content, AI answers, recording titles, file names, or private user-generated content.

Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address, message content, and any information you choose to provide so we can respond to your request.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide recording and transcription features

  • Generate transcripts, summaries, insights, and AI responses

  • Enable Ask AI and related app features

  • Store and display your recordings, transcripts, and insights

  • Sync supported data across devices when you sign in

  • Manage guest access

  • Manage usage limits and subscription access

  • Process purchase and restore status

  • Prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse

  • Improve app performance and reliability

  • Diagnose crashes and technical issues

  • Provide customer support

  • Enforce our Terms and Conditions

  • Comply with legal obligations

3. AI and Transcription Processing

VoiceFold uses trusted third-party transcription, cloud, and AI providers to provide app features.

Your audio, transcripts, and related content may be processed by transcription and AI services to create transcripts, summaries, insights, speaker-related output, and Ask AI responses.

We use this processing to provide VoiceFold features. We do not use your audio or transcripts for advertising.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You should review important information before relying on it.

4. Audio Handling

VoiceFold may temporarily process audio to create transcripts and related features.

Audio may be uploaded to our backend systems or trusted service providers for processing. VoiceFold is designed to limit audio retention where possible. Temporary audio files may be deleted after processing, subject to technical requirements, backups, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, or legal obligations.

Transcripts, summaries, insights, and related app content may remain available in your account or guest session until deleted, unless otherwise required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

Do not use VoiceFold to record people unless you have permission or are legally allowed to do so.

5. Third-Party Services

VoiceFold may use third-party services to operate the app, including:

  • Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend services

  • Deepgram or similar transcription providers for speech-to-text processing

  • AI model providers for summaries, insights, and Ask AI features

  • RevenueCat for subscription entitlement and purchase status management

  • Apple for App Store purchases, Sign in with Apple, and device-level platform services

  • Google for Google sign-in

  • Analytics, diagnostics, or crash-reporting providers if enabled

These providers may process information only as needed to provide, secure, support, or improve VoiceFold and related services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services outside our control. Their processing may be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and data processing practices.

6. When We Share Information

We may share information in the following situations:

Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate VoiceFold, such as cloud hosting, transcription, AI processing, authentication, subscription management, analytics, diagnostics, and customer support providers.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, legal process, or government requests

  • Protect the rights, safety, and property of CodeSper LLC, users, or others

  • Investigate fraud, abuse, security issues, or violations of our Terms

  • Enforce our agreements and policies

Business Transfers

If CodeSper LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

With Your Direction

We may share information when you choose to export, share, send, or disclose your content through app features or third-party services.

7. Human Access to Content

We do not routinely review your recordings, transcripts, summaries, insights, or Ask AI content.

Limited authorized personnel may access user content only when reasonably necessary, such as to provide support, troubleshoot technical issues, investigate abuse or security incidents, comply with legal obligations, or when you ask us to help with a specific issue.

8. Advertising and Tracking

VoiceFold does not use your recordings, transcripts, summaries, or AI content for advertising.

As of the Effective Date, VoiceFold does not sell your personal information and does not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If we later introduce advertising, ad attribution, or tracking that requires additional notice or permission, we will update this Privacy Policy and request permissions where required by applicable law or platform rules.

9. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed by VoiceFold.

However, no system, app, network, or storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple account, Google account, and app access secure.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide VoiceFold, maintain your account, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support business operations.

In general:

  • Temporary audio may be deleted after processing, subject to technical, backup, troubleshooting, security, or legal needs.

  • Transcripts, summaries, insights, AI responses, and related app data may be retained until you delete them or delete your account, unless retention is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

  • Subscription, transaction, and entitlement records may be retained as needed for accounting, fraud prevention, support, and legal compliance.

  • Anti-abuse and device-related signals may be retained as needed to prevent misuse of free or guest access.

  • Backup copies may remain for a limited period before deletion according to our backup practices.

11. Guest Users

VoiceFold may allow limited guest access without requiring Apple or Google sign-in.

Guest data may be tied to your device, anonymous account, local storage, or guest session. Guest data may not sync across devices and may not be recoverable if you delete the app, clear local data, change devices, or lose access to the guest session.

Signing in with Apple or Google may help preserve access and sync supported data across devices.

12. Your Choices

Depending on your account type and app features, you may be able to:

  • Delete recordings

  • Delete transcripts and related content

  • Delete guest data

  • Delete your account

  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple

  • Contact us for support or data requests

  • Disable certain analytics or permissions where supported

You may also manage app permissions, such as microphone access, through your device settings.

You may request account deletion or data-related assistance through the app where available or by contacting us at:

We may need to verify your request before taking action. Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, such as for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms.

14. Recording Consent

VoiceFold is a tool that allows users to record and process audio. Recording laws vary by location.

You are responsible for obtaining any required consent before recording, uploading, transcribing, sharing, or using audio content. Do not record private conversations unless you have permission or are legally allowed to do so.

15. Children’s Privacy

VoiceFold is not intended for children under 13 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to VoiceFold, please contact us at support@codesperpro.com and we will take appropriate steps.

16. International Users

VoiceFold is operated from the United States. If you access VoiceFold from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Privacy laws in these countries may differ from those in your location.

17. Region-Specific Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing.
